At Witech designs and manufactures Inter Coolers and After Coolers for efficient cooling of compressed air or gas between or after compression stages. These coolers remove excess heat, increase air density, and improve system performance and energy efficiency. An After Cooler cools compressed air coming from a supercharger or compressor before it enters an engine or process system. An Inter Cooler is used between stages of a multi-stage compression process to reduce the air temperature before it reaches the next stage. These air preheaters recover waste heat from exhaust gases that would otherwise be lost, using it to warm the combustion air. Wintech Chillers® carries a variety of water cooled chillers that suit a wide range of industries. Water cooled chillers absorb heat from process water and transfer it to a separate water source such as a cooling tower, river, pond, etc. Industrial water chillers are generally used for large capacity applications, where the heat generated by air cooled chillers creates a problem. They are also considered when a cooling tower is already in place, or where the customer requires optimum efficiency of power consumption. Water cooled chillers require condenser water treatment to eliminate mineral buildup. Mineral deposits create poor heat transfer situations, that reduce the efficiency of the unit.

Cooling towers reduce the temperature of water by transferring heat to the atmosphere, either through evaporation (wet cooling) or air circulation (dry cooling).

Cooling towers come in various sizes:
